Troop 2273 History

Troop 2273 was established on September 23, 2021, shortly after the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) began welcoming Girl Troops in February 2019.

• First Troop Committee Meeting: September 25, 2021

• First Troop Meeting: October 2, 2021

• First Camping Event (Family Campout): October 9–10, 2021

Founding Leadership:

• Founding Senior Patrol Leader: Ms. Bhoomika Sidda

• Founding Scoutmaster: Mr. Sidda Eraiah

• Founding Committee Chair: Dr. Jagath Reddy Junutula

Since its founding, Troop 2273 has grown steadily and is now home to 40 Scouts. The troop is proud of its strong tradition of teamwork, leadership, and excellence in Scouting competitions.

Key Achievements:

• Mission Peak 2023 Indoor Rally: 3rd Place

• Mission Peak 2024 Indoor Rally: Champions — the first Girl Troop to win the Championship since 1960

• Mission Peak 2025 Indoor Rally: Champions — won all six events, a first in the competition’s history

Troop 2273 continues to build on its legacy of growth, skill, and achievement—empowering Scouts to lead with confidence, character, and pride.
